In the “creative cooperative”, it’s important to know your potential partners. Each of us has our tasks in this enterprise. Guided by the needs of the client, an art director’s personal resources power the creative process. Whether they’re chasing that ellusive flicker of an idea, or perusing their address book for someone who does sketches their client will “get”, most days for an AD begin with strategy and raw materials. May we offer paper and pencil, brush and paint? -- two humble partnerships…with great benefits.
Illustration, in the traditional manner, is an authentic expression of creativity. The age-old process of exploring a concept through directing, drawing and discussing is still hard at work in our studio. Ironically, its still the “oil” that keeps the creative machine moving forward, without the need to cobble together, recycle or revisiting exhausted sources. Cut and paste are partners in crime, not in ingenuity.
Finished art is in traditional medium and scanning can be done in-house to your specifications.
