Believe it or not, this image was lifted for a sheet of anti-American postage stamps for a small Soviet country. To avoid starting WWIII, MAD decided to not pursue legal action for the blatant disregard for U.S. copyright law. I would be curious to see if people actually used them to send mail. It also made the news in the National Inquirer, for inquiring minds.
